Tenebrosian Tales
'Tenebrosian Tales' is a surreal anthology of record reviews, noir-mystery and steamy adventure, all served with a side-order of lo-fi dino art!
Central to the opus is Stu Tovell's 'The Blood Stained Mask', a third-wall breaking epic piece of noir-mystery. The world-blending and world-bending tale of Beavers and Blossoms forms a spine to the anthology, comprising the 'Out of this World' tale and three prequels which take the two central characters from the 'Heart's Cog' world, via the bookshop from 'Cornix Sinistra' into somewhere totally different...
Laced through and interwoven is the authors' love of music. From titles to direct reference to the four reviews that Mr. Stu gives us, this anthology should probably come with it's own setlist...
And then there's also Wulfenstæg's 'Rise of the Saelvatici', a kind-of trailer for the forthcoming 'Lore of the Saelvatici', which was published in 2021. The Robin Hood mythos. In a folk-horror mode. With creatures born of wolf and stag...
And there's also 'Some Kind of Stranger', also folk-horror flavoured, about a most unexpected were-creature in the heart of the English countryside.
